Can I Make One SKU For a Sub and a Kit?

There is no option to include a sub-SKU as part of a kit in Inventory Ahead. Instead, to set up a kit, you need to input the main SKU and not the sub-SKU.

If your sub-SKU represents a multiple pack that should be included in the kit, you should add the main SKU of that product to the kit. You can then specify the number of units that should be included in the kit.

Where Can I See Why My Warehouse Reports X Amount of Inventory?

Follow the below guide to see why your warehouse reports X amount of inventory:

Go to the Products page>Click on the SKU of the item you wanna review inventory on.

You will get to the Product Details page.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you find the ‘Activities’ section.
On the right-hand side, you will see a square icon. Click on it to choose the warehouse from which you want to view inventory activity.
Select the desired date range for the activity you want to see. Options may include ‘Last 30 days,’ ‘Last Year,’ ‘All,’ or other predefined ranges.
After selecting the date range, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
The system will display all the transactions related to the chosen product, including information on inventory received and sold.

What is the difference between “Received”, “QTY”, And “QTY Received” on a PO?

On the Purchasing page, you can view the receiving of every PO. Find below the differences between the columns.

“Received”, is the percentage of how much of the PO is received.

“QTY” is the number of units included in this PO.

“QTY Received”, is the number of units already received.

You can also click on “QTY Received” to view the history of the date, quantity, and location of the receiving.

In the profit reports, you have the option to group your products into specific categories.

Among the available options are “Group by Variation” and “Group by Store Variation”. The difference between the two is straightforward.

When you choose “Group by Variation,” the products will be grouped based on the locally entered variation in the system.

When selecting “Group by Store Variation,” the products will be grouped according to the variations imported from the marketplace, reflecting the variations as they appear on the marketplace platform.

Special Character SKUs in a PO

How to get the information of products printed

If you would like to have your product information printed, you can follow the simple steps below:

On the Inventory page, click on the ellipses on the right side and select the export button.

Then you select the desired information you want to be printed, and click on “Export”.

Once it is exported, you can print the information from excel.

Why is my Inventory Reduced When Adding a Product to a Kit

The reason why the inventory for the products within your kit decreased or went out of stock when you created a kit is that the kit itself does not have its own separate inventory. Instead, the kit draws its inventory from the main products included within it. Consequently, when orders or FBA shipments are associated with the product that is now converted into a kit, the inventory is deducted from all the main products within the kit.

A similar scenario occurs when you map existing products as main and subs. In this case, the historical data from the sub products’ FBA shipments and orders is subtracted from the inventory of the main product.
