If a shipment has been generated on Amazon or third-party software, Inventory Ahead will not hide your shipment until it reaches the “Shipped” status.

This precaution arises from the necessity of exclusively managing and finalizing shipments created on Amazon within the Amazon platform. This measure is taken to prevent any potential confusion or complications. Consequently, we conceal the shipment within Inventory Ahead, thereby restricting any alterations from being made.

Inventory Ahead provides the flexibility to edit an FBA shipment name until its status transitions to ‘shipped’. Once the status has been updated to ‘shipped’, any modifications made will not be reflected on Amazon’s platform.

In the event that you decide to alter the shipment name while the shipment is in progress, you have the option to reprint labels to accurately display the updated name. It’s important to keep in mind that there might be a slight delay before your changes reflect on Amazon, so there’s no need for concern.

To modify the shipment name in Inventory Ahead, simply click on the ‘Edit’ icon located near the shipment name in either step of the shipment process. This straightforward action ensures seamless management of your FBA shipments’ information.
