How to List Products from Inventory Ahead to Amazon

In order to list products from Inventory Ahead to Amazon, follow the below steps.

Go to Products > Inventory page.
Select one or more products which you’d like to have listed.
Click on the ‘Actions‘ dropdown and select ‘List selected products’.
On the following page, select the store(s) you like to list your products to.
Check one of the following options: “All items to existing ASIN” or “All items to new SKU“.
If FBA, check the checkbox for FBA.
If FBM, select an inventory rule.
Enter the selling price.
Once done, turn the toggle button ‘On’.
Click ‘List‘.

NOTES:

Be sure that your products have all the information required by Amazon.
Your products may take a little while to display in Amazon.
To view the status, click “Listing History” and select “All” by the date range.

What Can I do If Inventory Ahead Displays an Incorrect Image for One of my SKUs?

If an incorrect product image accidentally shows up in Inventory Ahead, fret no more! We have implemented a feature so that our users can update images themselves in a blink of any eye. As of now, a SKU must have an Amazon listing to allow users to update the product image on the front end. For SKUs that don’t have an Amazon listing, reach out to Inventory Ahead Support to get it updated for you. In the future, a feature will be added to allow updating images for other marketplaces as well.

Kindly head to the SKU, and klick on it to get to the Product Details page. Select the listings and hit ‘Actions’.

You’re all done! A success message will pop up on the bottom saying that the action was successful.

Clear cache, and the image should be updated.

Am I Able to Filter my FBA SKUs on the Inventory Page?

Regrettably, filtering for FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) SKUs is not available on the inventory page.

However, please note that you can efficiently filter FBA listings on the listings page by navigating to the advanced filters and selecting “FBA = Yes”.

This approach enables precise filtration for FBA-related items, enhancing your browsing experience.

Can I Filter Only FBA Products on the Inventory Page?

While using the inventory page, please be aware that the option to filter by FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) is not available.

However, you do have the ability to apply this filter on the listings page. Simply navigate to the ‘Advanced Filters’ and opt for ‘FBA=Yes’.

How to Create or Modify a Customized Dashboard

To modify or create an additional dashboard for the purpose of keeping your two stores or warehouses separate, and to separate your data or reports, follow these steps:

Navigate to the “Products” page from the left side menu

Click on the “+” sign located at the top to add a new dashboard, or “Customize” to modify the existing dashboard.

Write the name of your new Dashboard in the respective column. Now you can select which items you want to see in the visible column and which items you want in the hidden column. This can be done by clicking on the arrow.

If you want to see this dashboard as a default, check “Default view”.

Choose “default filter setting” according to your requirements.

Click the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen.

You are all set on your new dashboard.

Why are my Walmart product(s) not showing up in Inventory Ahead as listed in Walmart?

Often, Walmart frequently delays, or in some cases, completely fails to include your listings on their report, from which we pull our API. In such instances, you will need to contact Walmart and inquire about the reason why your products are not appearing on their API products report. Only after resolving this issue will Inventory Ahead be able to synchronize with Walmart for that specific product.

In order to verify if that is indeed the case, head over to your Walmart Seller Account > Product Catalog > Items.

From there, locate the export icon on the right-hand side of the page above your products and click on ‘Generate Full Catalog Report‘.

If you are unable to locate the product you’re looking for, a case with Walmart would need to be opened.

Why are my products not importing from Amazon?

If your store settings are configured to include only active products, your inactive listings on Amazon will not be displayed on Inventory Ahead.

To verify this, follow these steps:

Go to “Settings” and select “Selling Channels”.
Find and select your Amazon store.
On the right-hand side, click on the three dots (…) and choose “Edit”.
Please check the bottom section to verify if the option ‘Only Active Products’ is currently Checked.

If you prefer to include your inactive listings as well, you can uncheck that box. By doing so, both your active and inactive listings on your Amazon account will be visible in Inventory Ahead within the hour.

How Can I Sort My SKUs Alphabetically?

Some individuals prefer to have their SKUs arranged in alphabetical order as it provides them with enhanced clarity in their day-to-day tasks.

Here is a guide on how to set that up:

Navigate to the products page and go to the inventory tab.
Click on the highlighted space and select ‘SKU’.
Your SKUs will now be sorted alphabetically.

Please note that the paragraph has been modified to improve clarity and ensure adherence to standard grammar rules.

To set this as your default view, Click on ‘customize’.

Click on ‘sort by’, then select ‘sku’.

Click on the “Save” button, and from now on, alphabetical order will be set as the default sorting option.
